My name is Paolo Russo and I was born in Sorrento… I was “made in Italy” in 1969!
From 1990 to 1998 I lived in Germany where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
I have lived in Florence since 1998.
From the moment I set foot in Florence, I felt like the city had adopted me! We had found each other; Florence, my true home. Whilst I am not a ” native Florentine “, I am proud to say I am a “chosen Florentine”.
Right from the start of my life in Florence, I was overwhelmed by all that this city has to offer. Such abundance and generosity, especially, of course, in art and history. There are so many exciting things to read, to see and to study about this beautiful, captivating city, Florence.
In May 2009 I decided to go to college to become a tour guide so I could share my love and fascination with this city with as many people as possible. I became a qualified Tour guide of Florence and its Province in June 2010.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to offer private and group tours to some of the many thousands of visitors to Florence each year.
